Like a lot of families, Covid had us living on opposite sides of the world — I was in Europe, Annie was in Sydney, and let's just say the FaceTime call log was looking very full. When we were finally reunited in December 2021 (cue the tears and champagne), we knew we wanted to make up for lost time in the best way possible: by building something together.

 

One day, while rummaging through our jewellery boxes — a mess of heirlooms, memories, and why-is-everything-so-beige?! — we had a lightbulb moment: why aren't people wearing more colour? And just like that, Bixby and Co. was born.

 

We're lucky — we get on like besties. We love travel, sunshine, great tunes, and saying yes to everything that makes life brighter. We dress loud, laugh hard, and believe your accessories should show off your personality before you even say a word.

 

A trip to India in early 2021 reminded me just how powerful self-expression through style can be. The women there? Dressed in colour and confidence — no matter where they lived or what they had. Meanwhile in Australia, we seem allergic to sparkle. Why are we so afraid to dress up when Aussie girls are so bloody beautiful?!

 

Fast forward to 2026 and we're still obsessed with bringing joyful jewellery to life. Our goal for 2026? Now that we have partnered with manufacturers who 'get' us — family businesses in India who share our values around sustainability, quality, and sass — we will bring more of our bold, in-house designs to life with care.

Bixby jewellery has now been spotted on celebrities and influencers here in Australia, the US and the UK - names like Abbie Chatfield, Ellidy Pullen (who also modelled our pieces on the front cover of Cosmopolitan magazine), Leighton Meester the actress and Mollie Mae!! We love seeing your photos and tagged posts most of all though. Your reviews and enthusiasm for our designs are what keeps us going every day. 😘
